Buurtsalon Festival

The Buurtsalon Festival was a festive day filled with rituals, stories, art and encounters. Organized in collaboration with residents of Amsterdam-Oost. The festival celebrated the diversity of the neighborhood and focused on rituals that give meaning to life, ranging from religious traditions to personal practices related to celebration, love, farewell and remembrance. Visitors were invited to take part in workshops, performances, conversations and a collective art piece. Everyone was welcome to share their own rituals in the Buurtsalon on the 1e van Swindenstraat, creating a space for exchange, reflection and connection.
