Poster and publication design accompanied by a series of Adinkra symbols, commissioned by Patricia Kaersenhout and De Appel Amsterdam.
The publication was riso printed on lightweight newspaper paper, emphasizing both accessibility and tactility. Its bilingual structure allowed readers to engage with the content in two directions: from front to back in Dutch, or from back to front in English, symbolizing the dual perspectives and layered histories of the project. The Adinkra symbols, traditionally used in West African visual culture to convey wisdom, values, and proverbs, were integrated into both the wall stickers and the layout of the book. The result is a publication that functions as both a document and a dialogue, visually echoing the themes of the project it supports.
