Schutpapier

A collection of sample books commissioned by Schutpapier through Artez. In collaboration with Nikki Gersen, Bella Donna Nag and Reinier Hijmans I designed and created various sample books, to celebrate the 400 year existence of the paper manufacturer Schutpapier. One of almost 40 cm high with more than 700 different types of paper, developed at the factory throughout its history.
In addition we were asked to design a relationship gift based on the main sample book. A total of 50 books of 6 cm high, with each a unique selection and combination of paper, ordered by weight. All of the books are hand bound, as to make sure the glue binds with all different kinds (thickness and structure) of paper.
