How do you explain to another person what it feels like to be the other person? Attitudes between colored and white are heavily influenced by a racist system that emerged during colonial times. Racism was "normal. I used strip as a visual language to create an installation that addresses our shared history of slavery, everyday racism and its effect on society. I made sure that my project confronts the viewer with an inescapable conversation about racism.
